Hi beautiful soul, I am Joanna, and I am excited to invite you to join me on a transformative yoga journey. Through Asanas (physical poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Dharana (focus, concentration) and Savasana (relaxation) you reach a blissful state of Dhyana (meditation). Yoga means ‘to unite,’ this ancient wisdom teaches us how to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit, fostering balance and inner peace, and offering a profound sense of freedom.
My teaching focuses on deepening the relationship between the body, mind, and emotions. With a warm and inclusive approach, I invite students to engage with their practice at whatever capacity they can, emphasizing mindfulness rather than performance. I demonstrate different asana variations and teach by using correct terminology and hands on adjustment for precise alignment. I guide students in transforming their energy via body alignment, stretching techniques, guided breath awareness, relaxation, and meditation.
My goal as a teacher is to ensure that students leave each session feeling stronger, calmer, inspired, and filled with positive energy. I invite you to step into your own journey of self-discovery, to embrace who you truly are, and to foster a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you.
Having lived and worked in the city, affected by stress, my soul has longed for a more meaningful life and tranquility, and this inner calling has led me to yoga.
What started as an occasional practice became an inspiration to discover new things, explore inner and outer world, and deepen compassion to others and myself. Yoga has evolved from a simple practice to a way of life, positively influenced my personal growth and self-realization.
Following my passion for health and wellness, and having experienced benefits of yoga, I decided to train as a yoga teacher at Integrity centre under the guidance of Alina Bialek. I completed 200hrs for the Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training in November 2022 and started teaching in February 2023. Besides teaching dynamic style, I wanted to offer slower practices, thus I completed 50hrs Yin Yoga Teacher Training at Manav Yoga under direction of Sumit Manav in August 2024.
I have started taking yoga classes run by Joanna for 10 months. I am very pleased with the effects which I felt just after a few sessions. My well-being has improved and I feel mentally and spiritually healthier. I have more positive energy and I sleep much better. I like her individual approach to the client as well as her professionalism. I will definitely recommend her classes
I have started yoga classes with Joanna one year and a half ago, and I truly love it. She always comes with new exercises, with 2 options to adapt to different levels. It is a proper workout, based on breathing exercises, strength, balance, flexibility and to finish relaxation. Joanna is also really kind, encouraging, it is such a pleasure to come back every week.
I have been attending Jo's Wednesday class for around 8 months now, I feel physically stronger and my flexibility is improving every week. I love meeting new people and making friends.
Joanna helps you to learn how to understand your own body. Her classes are energizing and fun. I also really like the meditation at the end, it leaves me feeling very relaxed.
